Scope of inspections

GENERAL APPEARANCE
We observe and take note of the cleanliness and general condition of the exterior and interior of the boat and report on anything of note or out of place.

BATTERY & ELECTRICAL
We check on battery charge level, connections, and top off with distilled water (if applicable). We verify that electrical systems and accessories turn on.

ENGINE(S) & TRANSMISSION
We check fluids and gauges, start the engine, and check for anomalies in temperature or rpm. We check transmission for smooth operation.

RIGGING & CANVAS
We visually inspect the rigging and sails (at deck level) and canvas for obvious signs of excessive wear and check smooth operation of winches.
05
WATER SYSTEMS
We check the water tank level, exercise and report on the operation of bilge pump(s), sinks and toilets, and check on smooth operation of seacocks.
